This contract was a new build commercial transport hub & warehouse, I came in with the Foundations & Steelwork complete however the Groundworks contractor had strayed off programme too far and needed to be brought back into line. A challenging role in terms of people skills and also working alongside other elements of the job which were entwined with the groundworks but were further progressed, I had a fixed completion date to achieve the handover of the groundworks package which ended up 4 weeks prior to PC.

• Deal with contractor RFI’s immediately on the spot so now downtime happened

• Constantly drive Foreman and Contracts manager to supply more labour on site.

• Put together short term realistic & achievable programmes but with rigid dates to stick to

• Working with other contractors to make sure surrounding trades worked seamless with groundworks
